What is the difference between Brow Resurrection and Microblading?
Brow Resurrection is a form of semi-permanent eyebrow embroidery, or also known as microblading. Unique only to Browhaus, Brow Resurrection uses an advanced brow embroidery technique.
How does Brow Resurrection work?
During treatment, strand-like designs which mimic real hair will be scratched lightly into the epidermis layer of the skin. We use safe semi permanent colours according to your hair colour and skin tone to give the “hair strands” the perfect shade. This results in long-lasting, natural looking brows with a finer finish as compared to other semi-permanent brow treatments, that simply weave in parallel hair strands.
What tools are used during the treatment?
We use the best tools in the trade, which include our finest multi-pins to craft out intricate life-like brow strands.
Is Brow Resurrection safe?
Yes, our treatment is safe. We never reuse multi-pins. Each pin comes individually sealed, sterilised and are disposed of after the treatment.
Does Brow Resurrection hurt?
We go that extra mile to ensure a comfortable experience from start to finish. To minimise discomfort, our therapist will apply a superior numbing cream to the treatment area. 9 out of 10 customers say that they don’t experience any discomfort and for those who do, the sensation is likened to tweezing.
How long is the treatment session?
Each type of treatment has its own duration. The entire procedure takes 90 minutes for Brow Resurrection Classic, Soft or Full, and 120 minutes for Brow Resurrection Ombre to complete. All of them consist of both consultation and the treatment itself.
How long does a Brow Resurrection treatment last?
12 -18 months, depending on the type of treatment and if a tune-up session has been completed within 3-months of the original treatment session.
Can previous tattoo work be reworked or covered up?
About 90% of such cases have been successfully reworked. However, expectations must be managed as the results will not be comparable to newly treated brows. The results are also dependent on factors, such as the colour and thickness of your brow tattoo and when your brows were last tattooed. In some cases, we recommend a laser removal of your brow tattoo before having Brow Resurrection done, so as to achieve the best results possible.
Can I do Brow Resurrection if I've done Brow Lamination?
Yes, but we strongly advise you to do so at least 1 month after your Brow Lamination session. For customers who have an existing brow base from Brow Resurrection, brow embroidery or microblading, it is advisable to perform Brow Lamination only 3 months after the final touch-up.
What is the post treatment care?
- Avoid prolonged contact with water and facials for the next 24 hours.
- Avoid applying makeup or skincare products on and around the eyebrows for the next 24 hours.
- Avoid sunbathing, swimming, saunas or steam baths for the next 24 hours.
- Use a cotton bud to cleanse your brows with the skin repair solution, Build, before applying the anti-scarring skin repair balm, Fix. Repeat this twice a day.
- Avoid picking or scratching the eyebrows. Peeling and scabbing is part of the natural healing process.
- Avoid intensive exercise for the next 24 hours.
- To maintain results, return for your tune-up within 3-months after your first session.
- Apply Undercoat lash & brow conditioner daily to lift, define and sculpt the brows, 4-weeks after your final tune-up session.
- Apply Extend lash & brow serum to treated area daily at night, ensuring it is fully coated, 4-weeks after your final tune-up session.
