How is Brow Lamination different from other brow embroidery treatments?
Brow Lamination is a non-invasive and temporary eyebrow perm that restructures the direction of your brow hairs using perming solutions that lasts for up to 4 weeks. The aftercare of this treatment only requires you to apply Undercoat, which moisturises your brow hairs and sets them in place.On the other hand, Brow Resurrection is a semi-permanent treatment, more known as brow embroidery or microblading, that lasts up to 2 years. In terms of aftercare, there is more work involved such as keeping the treated area dry and moisturised for up to 10 days after the treatment is done.
What kind of brows are suitable for Brow Lamination?
This treatment is suitable for those who have small gaps in their brows and want to achieve a fuller, thicker appearance for a short period of time. If your brows are on the sparser side, you might not be suitable for Brow Lamination. We recommend that you speak to our friendly brow therapists for a consultation first.
What can I expect during the Brow Lamination treatment?
The entire procedure will take 50 minutes, which consists of both the consultation and treatment itself. Through an intricate 3-step process, brows are first prepped with a cream before being brushed upwards to fill in small gaps and define arches. Once brows are in place, a neutralising cream will be applied to keep them in full position. Undercoat is then used to add on the final details to not only style, but nourish the brows too. Customers may encounter a little redness, tingling sensation, itchiness and/or mild swelling during or/and after the treatment. It will subside within a few hours. If you feel any discomfort during the treatment, do not hesitate to inform our brow experts.
How long does a Brow Lamination treatment last?
The results can last up to 4 weeks, depending on individual brow hair condition. Customers who wish to re-perm again may do so after the 4th week.
What is the post treatment care?
- Avoid prolonged contact with water for the next 24 hours.
- Avoid sunbathing, swimming, saunas or steam baths for the next 24 hours.
- Avoid applying makeup or skincare products on and around the eyebrows for the next 24 hours.
- Avoid scrubbing and chemical exfoliants that contain AHA, BHA or Retinol for the next 7-days.
- Avoid scratching or touching the treatment area excessively.
- Avoid intensive exercise for the next 24 hours.
- Apply lash & brow conditioner, Undercoat, to lift, define, and sculpt the brows.
- After 7 days, apply lash & brow serum, Extend, to treated area daily at night, ensuring it is fully coated.
